Easy Keto Rotisserie Chicken
– 4 pounds chicken (1 whole) – 3 tbsp butter, melted – 1 tsp garlic powder – 1 tsp onion powder – 2 tsp paprika – salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425°F.
In a small bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; whisk all together until well combined.
Remove giblets from the chicken and brush all over the outside with butter. Now rub the spices all over the chicken.
Place chicken into a baking dish and bake uncovered for 60 to 70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 °F - 175°F. Done!
Preheat your oven to 350F or as high as 450F and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 – 175 degrees. You can use a meat thermometer to check this temperature.
How long to cook a rotisserie chicken
At 300 F and 350 F, it generally takes about 20 to 30 minutes per pound chicken. And if you are cooking one whole chicken, let’s say 4 pounds, it can take about 60-70 minutes.
You can serve it with low carb chips and green salad, roasted broccoli or asparagus and there are many other options you can choose from.
