Tips to make the best low carb chicken fried steak and gravy

  • Always try to use a non-stick or cast iron pan to avoid the breading stick to the pan.
  • If using almond flour try to clean the pan after the first two steaks are being cooked and then prepare your sauce/gravy because it may burn very quickly.

  1. This was so good! The gravy alone was delicious. I did add a bit more broth to thin it out a little but everything else was the same. I used my air fryer for the steaks. Definitely a keeper. Going to try it with chicken next time. Thank you!!!

  2. Does this get crunchy when using almond flour in the air fryer? One of the best part of a good country fried steak is the crunch, at least it is for me. I’ve been disappointed so far with air frying anything other than fries.
