Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chicken (1 whole)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a small bowl, add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper; whisk all together until well combined.
  3. Remove giblets from the chicken and brush all over the outside with butter.
  4. Now rub the spices all over the chicken.
  5. Place chicken into a baking dish and bake uncovered for 60 to 70 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 °F - 175°F.
